How will my contribution serve the deaf-blind?

AzADB has no paid administrators; it is a volunteer-driven organization.  100% of all funds (minus the minimal bank fees, website fees, etc.) are appropriated where the members of AzADB are most in need.  Your contribution helps to replenish the following financial reservoirs:
  • AzADB Emergency Fund-Pays for Support Service Providers or other resources when advance scheduling is not possible due to unforseen circumstances such as hospitalization.
  • AzADB Technological Fund-Pays for assistive technology that increases communication options for the Deaf-Blind and assists them to independently complete a wider variety of daily tasks.
  • AzADB Recreation Fund-Provides the Deaf-Blind with more opportunities for personal enjoyment and enrichment through AzADB group outings or sponsorship of Deaf-Blind retreats, camps, workshops, etc.  (Read "A Deaf-Blind View of AzADB Recreational Activities" on the AzADB Blog).
